A "Moment" to "Remember" !

Life is full of Moments. A moment is an indefinitely short period of time. Though it can vary from person to person and instance to instance. And life is full of such moments may be precious, may be not. I first heard this in movie BluffMaster that "Life is big but we remember only a few moments of our past", Only those moments which gives us a different sensation, a completely different feeling though simple yet memorable. Those moments which we cherish throughout our life, which we like to share and this post is dedicated to one moment. :)

Getting such a moment in life is always awesome but to give such a moment to other sometimes gives even better feeling. 4th December 1985 my Mummy and Papa got married. 4th December 1986 my parents had their 1st Anniversary gift, a baby boy and that's me. :) (I feel so lucky). And since then lots and lots of memories to cherish came the day i was waiting for since long time, 4th December 2010, ie. My parents Silver (25th) Anniversary. As i belong to a traditional Hindu Joint Family which celebrates all occasions as festival, we planned to had a grand party which somehow due to some unavoidable circumstances couldn't take place, and it was felt that the day would pass by silently.

I thank the Almighty, who had different plans, and luckily it worked out. I with my cousins(who are dispersed all over the country to achieve their goals) made a plan, "a secret party". We planned to have it at 12 mid night, and all of us were scheduled to arrive at our convenience. Some how 4 of my cousins(including my bro) arrived on 3rd and were given the full responsibility of arranging things. 6 of us(including my jiju) somehow managed to take the same train which was scheduled to arrive some minutes past 12, (we didn't had any other option). At 12 people started calling my parents to wish them and according to the plan my cousins were instructed not to wish them and to pretend as everyone was sleeping. But my mom came up to my cousin and said "Wish nahi karoge kya tum log, bhul gaye kya", and they were forced to wish. :). my mom called me i had to go to an A/C 2compartment to avoid the sound of moving train and pretending i am in deep sleep.Things we going fine and then Indian Railways made it's presence felt, delaying the train by some 2 hours. We reached home town at 2:15 am. 2 of my cousins picked us from station and we were home by 2:30 am.

"We will party at 3 guys, done". One by one we woke up all other members of our family and asked them to stay calm. We decorated our hall (which my cousins already did), with lots of heart shaped balloons, flowers, decorating papers etc. We had a cake at the center with Garlands for Jaimal. All set, all elders sat in the room with lights off, we 6 ppl hide in the next room and 4 cousins went to wake up my parents. "Chacha utna nahi hai kya, 5 baj gaye kitna soyenge (they use to wake at 5)," said one of my cousin. "Abhi to 3 baje hain", "Nahi 5 baj gaye ghadi chal nahi rahe hai" ... Ok may be. "wake up and come outside".... "Kya hua tum log itne subah" asked my father. Lets go the hall once, both of you. My mom said kuch gadbad hai kya? No no come .

They stood just outside the hall, and my mom prompted, andar koi hai ... They came "Lights ON"... SURPRIZEEEEEE said my cousins and some balloons burst, they were like oh God and by the time they could express anything came the other SURPRIZEEEEEEEE behind the doors and they were completely schocked :D... Yipppppeeee Partyyyyyyyy Happy 25th Anniversary .... Atmosphere around was one of those childhood birthday we use to celebrate with all cousins around, and eyes of the parents filled with tears. :). We cut the cake, we had the Jaimal, we had the Questionnaire round, and there was fun everywhere. Everyone was happy and (infact my cousins suprizzeeed me when they presented me my BDay cake). Thank you guys thank you very much. We had Religious prayer next afternoon and we all left be evening.

Next day morning my mom called and said "I have a few moments in my life to treasure and you gave me one more to remember". Just as the words came out of my phone, a current ran throughout my body and i was speechless just to add, "mom just give me blessings, so that i can keep you all happy". Life has changed from a free bird to a busy bee but the child at heart is still there. Thank God thank you very much. :)

PS:- We care celebrating our mummy papa's 25th anniversary on 25th december, a grand party (on my younger bro's bday), ensuring all the cousins make to it. Yipeeeee
